1/2 Done!!

So we are a little more than half way thru our pregnancy and have actually been feeling great. Baby Girl moves all the time and Daddy was even able to feel her on Sunday. He smiled so big, just like a girl to start melting her daddy's heart. We have been working on her room lately, it is almost cleared out that we can start painting and decorating. I ordered some things and they have all came in so I am super anxious to get started. Daddy picked out her paint color and so I am sure he will start working on that once we get back from Cali.

We have been so busy the past couple of weeks that I have fallen behind on my posting. We went to the Museum of Transportation twice this month, once with just the three of us and the next time with my best friend's family. It was so much fun and I need to blog about it, but just haven't had time. Last weekend we spend Saturday powerwashing the house, removing a couple of bushes and putting mulch down. House looks great outside! Thanks to my hubby. We spent Sunday with J's godparents and had a wonderful time. G entertained both Joe and Sandy and wouldn't leave Joe alone. It was supper cute and I don't know who enjoyed it more G or Joe.

We are leaving for Cali in 2 days. I am so excited. Will be posting a ton of pictures I am sure, we have a full packed vacation with family and friends.

Out of this world and around the world!

We had a blast hunting for stuff to decorate G's nursery. We chose a theme that at the time couldn't find anything so when we did we where super excited! Now you can find tons of robots, rockets and space stuff.

J said with this baby boy or girl I could pick the theme. I have for years loved all the travel motif so decided to do if we have a girl that I wanted it to be "Around the world" I had picked up bedding last summer at Target for 75% off that was neutral so now the search is on to find cute girlie stuff that is not pink. I found an adorable Pottery Barn rug on Craigslist and have ordered a couple prints off eBay so needless to say I am dying to start working on the nursery!! I am determined to wait till we get back from California since I know with Carries help I will find more adorable pieces!

Now that it has settled in we are SO excited about having a girl and we are almost settled on a name!! Don't ask we aren't telling :-) just in case we change our minds !! Here's a picture of the rug, super cute!

Another entertaining moment caught on video...

A girl....

So I have to say that I am some what surprised that we are having a girl. The funny thing is that with G I knew we where having a boy. We had even bought non-returnable bedding before we even knew what he was. This time I didn't have a clue. I had a dream that I had a girl, but a week later I had a dream that it was a boy. I can say that at first I think I went into shock, I even told my doctor "A girl, what am I suppose to do with a girl". He just started laughing and said that "One pees sitting down and one pees standing up, but they both pee."

Now that we know I am starting to really like the idea. I think I secretly wanted a boy, because we would of been set, we have everything from G. On the other hand, I think this little one is going to be spoiled more than G was since my IL girls are already in shopping mode.

I can't wait to see how this little one adds to our family. I think she is going to melt our hearts in ways we cant even imagine. And I can say that I am going to love having an "even" household.

Now to just decide on a name.

Our Baby girl is due in September

This is a side view of our baby on the way. Her head is on the right, resting on a hand. We started laughing during the ultrasound because mommy was laying the same way! Now comes the hard part- picking out the name.

On a great note! They moved up her due date! We are now 17.5 weeks along. Her scheduled arrival is set for Sept. 2nd.

Not forgotten

Went with Cara to place flowers at Mom's grave today. Miss her. I've taught G her name with the pictures of her that we have. I'm not sure who placed the white flowers a while back, but thank you.
