So Gideon was sick last week and then was very generous and gave it to Josh and Josh not wanting me to feel left out has given it to me. I was feeling great until Friday night and then suddenly it hit me hard on the way home from having dinner with the girls. Thanks to someone's antibotics I just now started to feel better, I avoided giving the little one any kisses and getting to close that way I dont give it back to him. Now I understand what my sister meant when she said one gets it we all get it. Hopefully by this coming weekend we will get to be with friends again :-)
On a brighter note, this week went great at work. I am still feeling like a fish out of water with being gone for 4 months, but by friday I was starting to remember parts of the job. I can say I love my new schedule, only having to be away from him two days a week is wonderful.
Well its Sunday night and this blog will be short, I need to go get things ready for the Closing Ceremony of the Olympics. :-)

So we went last week to get our little one's picture taken, he was not a happy camper at all for the whole shoot, above is the best two! Oh well maybe next time :-) I still think he is adorable.

One World - One Dream
I am not a big tv watcher, but Josh & I have been glued to the tv this week watching the olympics. I can say this has been one of the best years I have watched them. If you can keep me awake till midnight watching tv you know it has to be great.
Go - Michael Phelps! What else can you say, the guy is amazing. I love this comment from him "The biggest thing is nothing is impossible" and I think he has proven it.
My favorite is Shawn Johnson, what an all American girl. She is so adorable and I love how she glows after each performance. Proud she is on our team.

My first day back at work and I survived...
Well I did it!! I made it through the day....ok so I called Carrie several times to check on him and I didn't take pictures to show off, because I knew if I started talking too much about him I would start crying. Josh told me not to put my make up on till I got to work in case I started to cry (he was right) I am telling you this little guy has me wrapped around his little finger.

Our little one is two months old!!
Well our little one is two months old today and is growing in leaps and bounds. He now weighs 12 pounds and is 25 inches long. He is holding his head up and is sleeping at least 5-6 hours at night, which makes him a total angel. He is a very happy baby, smiling and cooing all the time. He is a little charmer with everyone and has wrapped me around his little finger, its amazing how much you can love someone.

Two Months Old Today - Happy Birthday, little one.
Well our little one is two months old today and is growing in leaps and bounds. He now weighs 12 pounds and is 25 inches long. He is holding his head up and is sleeping at least 5-6 hours at night, which makes him a total angel. He is a very happy baby, smiling and cooing all the time. He is a little charmer with everyone and has wrapped me around his little finger, its amazing how much you can love someone.
He also had his shots this week and has been a little fussy & running a fever so we let him sleep with us. The picture below where he is laying on the pillows, he actually thinks he is being held :-) someone has been a little spoiled this week.
Last week we went to camp, here is a picture of cousin Katie. She is very fond of Gideon.
On a personal note, the past two months have been a great adventure. As much as having a baby changes things, I love it. He has totally melted my heart, its funny I have always loved my nieces and nephews, but this little guy has done things to my heart that I didnt think was possible. He is truly his daddy's son. :-)
